Make your courses stand out
Course quality depends greatly on how creators are able to design contents that naturally pull learners in and energize them. This takes a lot of effort, because if you overlook this step, you will fail to impress and will soon have to get back to it anyway. Here are a few ways you can get an idea of where to start.
- What is the overall impression that you want your courses to be known for?
- What are the strongest personality traits that have helped you stay successful in your teaching career?
- Do you keep yourselves updated by reading articles by popular publishers? The world is always changing!
- Where do you often see your students flock to for knowledge? Do they enjoy short videos like Tiktoks and YouTube shorts? What make them stand out?
Organize your materials
Now that you have got everything in place, let’s start putting materials onto LMS. To build a successful course, remember these things.
- A clear overview and a list of useful materials will attract your learners.
- Use videos and images. They are powerful tools that convey strong messages.
- Provide a clear lesson structure with clear sections and succinct lessons. Do not cram too much information into one lesson.
- Keep your instructions short. Break them into chunks and throw in small quizzes or videos.
